Na het maken van de Artisjokken bleef er nog klei, van de
juiste kleur, over om een paar groene Asperges te maken. En daarna zelfs voor
het maken van een paar kaarsenhouders in de vorm van de bodem van een
artisjokbloem. Kaarsen erin gemaakt, fles witte wijn open getrokken en je hebt
alle ingrediënten om lekker asperges te eten, eet smakelijk ;)!

After making the Artichokes there was still left a bit of
clay, in the right color, for making some green Asparagus. And after that still
some for making some candle holders in the shape of the bottom an artichoke
flower. Made some candles in them, opened a bottle of white wine and you have
allmost all ingredients for a delicious meal of Asparagus, bon apppetit ;)!

Op mijn werktafel kwam ik nog wat restmateriaal tegen om nog
net één zachtroze pioenroos van te maken.

I came across some leftover material on my worktable, it was
enough for making just one soft pink colored peony.

Het zomerweer is hier terug naar normaal, zelfs wat aan de
koele kant, maar persoonlijk is dit voor mij ideaal weer om nog wat dingen af
te kunnen maken voor de DHN-show in Arnhem. De show vindt plaats in het laatste
weekeinde van september, óók ik sta er weer met mijn miniaturen en ik kijk er naar uit om jullie weer te zien.
Dus, gezien de resterende tijd: niet lezen van jullie blogs,
of reacties schrijven, maar snel terug naar mijn werktafel en zien wat ik nog
mee klaar kan krijgen, tot later.

The summer weather is back to normal, even a bit too cool,
but for me in person that’s just ideal to finish some miniatures for the
DHN-show in Arnhem, which is taking place at the last weekend of September.
So, seen the time left: still no reading your blogs, or
writing comments, but quickly going back to my worktable and see what I can
finish more, see you later.

The artichokes last week were a delight and what you have made from 'the left over' clay this week is simply gorgeous.

Your peony is beautiful with such a delicate colour. And the asparagus are wonderful. What a good idea to have made candles.

Ah, those lucky people who will be able to see and admire your tiny miracles in reality at the fair... if they're fast to visit your stand of course. Wonderful work and a fantastic arrangement in the first picture. And needless to say that I admire your beautiful peony - and it's amazing how well a single peony stem and a stunning jug which would normally be too wide for just one flower match together. It's all about trying and playing… and sometimes using the left overs of clay. Those artichoke candle holders are a lovely idea.
