Happy…..

Months ago I made a skull, out of Fimo clay, for a special purpose. No, not for Halloween but for a miniature scene that has yet to be made.
But…..for Halloween this skull came in handy, he even laughs about it ;O)!

For creating this scene I had almost everything at home, the only thing I didn't have available were a couple of long bones, or femora. So, these are made of Fimo clay and they came fresh from the oven today and still had to be finished this afternoon.
As a result, I was able to take some pictures quickly just before the sun went down.

They don’t have the best quality, but I am happy that I succeeded AND that therefore they got a nice atmospherical look, see for yourself…. ;O).

Here, in the Netherlands, not everyone celebrates Halloween, in addition, children are now not allowed to go along houses in every region. And due to the pandemic people have to write with chalk a cross on the pavement, about 1,5 meters away from their frontdoor and they can only give the children "wrapped" candy. Well, let's all make the best of it and for those who celebrate Halloween: Happy Halloween!!!
Stay healthy and take good care of each other 💝
Thank you for your kind reactions, have a nice weekend!

Well done! Hmmm.... I wonder what the skull was made for? I look forward to seeing that project, too.

looks like a happy skull. He probably died laughing haha.
Your work is incredible in every detail. I love your little display. I wonder what the skull is originally intended for. Will wait patiently to see.
Keep safe!

Dear Ilona, Only you would happen to be making the most Perfect Skull and crossbones just in time for Halloween! Your skills with the clay are amazing! I shudder when I see that "smile"! The rest of your accessories that you happened to have lying around for this "Memento Mori" still-life are perfect too.... but I especially admire the carved lap desk! Wow! What a wonderful creation! Stay safe and keep making minis! :):)

"Bones freshly baked out of the oven" is an expression one doesn't hear very often... *LOL* You've created a stunning vignette in honor of Halloween - and I really like Drora's idea that this guy might have died while laughing out loud. But like the others I wonder what will be the real purpose you made this stunning skull for. Well, for the moment he looks great in your arrangement with this precious black tulip and the glass by Gerd Felka (I'm quite certain about its origin) and I hope he keeps on laughing - we all need a good laugh' these days. ;O)

Hugs
