meisje! Meer hierover later in dit bericht….
In one of my previous blog posts I wrote about making a baby
doll for Daisy ( http://minimumloon.blogspot.nl/2014/07/margrietjes-daisies.html
). Meanwhile I've made a small swaddled baby, this is the result: a girl!
More about this later in this blog…..
Speaking of babies: Patricia ( www.woolytales.blogspot.com ) has sent me some more of her selfmade dolls to make clothes for
them. First of all I’ve made some clothes for this baby, his name is Harry. He
was crying so hard, the poor boy, he misses his Mommy ;)! Of course, he will go
back to Patricia, if more of her dolls are clothed.
mijn werktafel nat plaste ;)!
I quickly gave him a cotton diaper, before he got the
chance to pee on my work table;)! Maybe you’ve seen already his little crochet
baby booties, here you can see them a bit better. Patricia wished for him a
simple onesie, so I made one for him. Underneath he wears a t-shirt with a
small open-work motif in the fabric.
knuffellapje….
As soon he was dressed, this little fellow crawled from my
work table; the little kids of Patricia are quite naughty =)! Look, there he
goes with his cuddle tod…..
But when I lifted him up and put him back on my table, he screamed so hard....
gestopt heb.
……that I’ve put a new (selfmade) soother in his small mouth.
Dát is beter: eindelijk rust :D!!
Thát's better, finally some rest :D!!
Let’s go back to the swaddled babies…..I’ve found this idea
on Pinterest, but I’ve made them to my own discretion. Firstly I’ve made a
small face of Fimo clay, than I made a small body of a wooden bead and glued
them together. Then I’ve sewed a tiny mutch, glued it on the head and I’ve
wrapped the body in a small piece of fabric, which I’ve fastened with a stitch.
After that I decorated the fabric with nail stickers, this is the result.
Two of these babies are sent to two blog friends to say 'thank you', but the
pink one is for Daisy, the girl doll of Patricia.

Hi Ilona! Your little swaddled babies are soooo cuddly
You have done such a great job with them, and I thank you for explaining the process, but they still have your incredible personal touch which can't be beat! :D
Patrica's crying baby is, as you, have said, missing his mommy! Maybe he was cold too, but now it seems he is just cranky because he is tired. The soother has certainly helped and now that he is warm again because of his new clothes, I suspect he will also be easier on the ears!
Well Done with EVERY THING! :D

¡Hola Ilona! Me gustan tus bebés, tan arropados , asomando esa linda carita.
Lieve groetjes Mieke

Your babies are so cute and sweet. I love them!
So the perfect partnership between you and Patricia continues... that's great because the results are awesome - and fun to watch. Poor little Harry - so good the idea with the pacifier came to your mind... And your little baby dolls are just cute, Daisy will love hers.
Hugs
Birgit
Your swaddling babies are adorable and so sweet! I guess those soothers really work.
Poor Harry he is also adorable. I want to just pick him up and rock him. His outfit is perfect!
I love your little swaddled babies! They're really, really adorable! Patricia's boy looks so much cuter with the pacifier in his mouth. All that crying was just too stressful! ;-) xo Jennifer
Dear Ilona, You and Patricia make a wonderful team. With the pacifier, both baby and you got some rest.
The swaddled babies are adorable!
Hugs, Drora
Good thing the little screamer scored a diaper before he could pee on desktop: D
It's funny, babies are always at its most beautiful when they sleep. I loved my son also in his pajamas, because this was the precursor to sleep *LOL*
Another great job! Patricia will be over the moon with it
Hugs
Melli
Unbelievable! Why I didn't know you 20 years ago! You are The Babysitter!!!
You can turn a rascal to an angel in seconds. Yes Ilona, I remember these 'look how cute they are.. when they're sleeping' moments very well. :D
But now i have time to rest... or
perhaps I also try to make bead babies. They are so cute.♥ Your friends and Daisy will be very happy to have these little ones.
Hugs, piikko
Hi Ilona! Amazing little babies! So cute, and so incredibly tiny! I'm always amazed at the clothes you make, they are so small but you do such an excellent job and they fit perfectly! The soother / pacifier / dummy is incredible! All beautifully made!

I miss them so much but I know you are taking a good care of them !!!;)
You babies are of course adorable. They go perfectly with any little girl. They remind me of one I had when I was a child.
Thank ((((you))) so much !!
Love~
Your swaddle babies are so cute! I love the faces. They look so sweet. And Patricia's baby is gorgeous too! I am amazed by the change that happens when you put his pacifier in his mouth. He really looks like he goes from tantrum to sleepy baby. That is so wonderful! You always do such incredible work.
hugs♥,
Caroline
What a cutie that little Harry-baby <3 And swaddle babies are very cute too! I love the little pacifier, it surely changes his "look" when the pacifier is in his mouth =) Hugs Eeva
