The cow is made by Patricia Cabrera, the milking set and the
wooden stool are made by myself.
gele boterbloemen!
Cows absolutely don’t like them and won’t eat these flowers
because of their bitter taste. But still their name is a bit “related” to cows.
We still have to wait a while now and then the meadows are filled with:
cheerful yellow buttercups!
And because they are meadow flowers I’ve put my miniature
buttercups into a glass preserving jar, just like my grandma used to do in earlier
times with our hand picked meadow flowers ;).
narcis….
I’d already made a bunch of daffodils for the coming
DHN-show (in September), but in the meanwhile I've ‘lost’ them ;O. So I've
again made new daffodils, also in different species, like this double flowered
daffodil….
….. and this white one, in a still closed flower head.
And all together in a row ;O!
toegewenst!
This morning I was riding my bike when I saw (from a
distance) these roes grazing in a meadow and because the wind came from an
other direction I was able to photograph them. A few meadows away there were
even already some cows outdoors. Yes, I know that I’m a lucky bird that I live
in this beautiful area!
Thank you all for your kind comments, wishing you a nice
week!

Oh, I like your country scenes, Ilona! In reality or in mini they describe a world we forget (and it's a shame)

and you live in a great place.
¡Qué maravilla de flores! La vaca está también genial.
So pretty! I love your buttercups!
Buttercups are my RL garden nemesis as well as the evil dandelions, yet when yours are seen in miniature, they've suddenly become quite desirable!
I had no idea that cows don't enjoy eating them but Patricia's Marvelous dairy cow, appears to be seriously considering yours! ;D
Dear Ilona, I will become boring by saying once again, you are AMAZING!!! The buttercups are so beautiful and sunny and Real looking... I could be fooled into thinking they were the real flowers we put in our canning jars too! I don't know how you do it... you are magical with the blossoms!!! And Particia's cow is Wonderful... I so look forward to seeing the Byre... eventually! :):) Meanwhile you will milk her in that lovely meadow and carry the milk home! :)
The butter cups are just amazing! So delicate and fragile. Thank you for sharing your lovely spring photos. Anna
Love seeing your neighbourhood Ilona.. :) And what a wonderful cow to accompany your fabulous buttercups.
Besos.
Beautiful buttercups, and the jam jar is just the perfect simple container for them. What a wonderful selection of daffodils, which demonstrates yet again quite how brilliant you are.
Patricia is such a great artist, her cow is amazing. A good thing cows don't like eating buttercups, yours are so perfect it would have been a shame if she had eaten them.

Hallo Ilona,

It starts looking green. Your buttercups and daffodils are beautiful!
Zo mooie boterbloemen!
Beautiful countryside photos! How wonderful to be able to enjoy these lovely sights. Patricia's cow is an amazing piece of work. I love the accessories you made for her. And, as always, your buttercups and daffodils are exquisite.
Hugs, Drora
Tes boutons d'or sont extraordinaires.
The headline alone made me smile all over the face... and the arrangement with Patricia's terrific cow and your milking tools is fantastic. And while I'm already using a bunch of adjectives describing something awesome, stunning, wonderful, beautiful, terrific, outstanding I can directly build a link to your awesome, etc. (please see list above) buttercups. If it wasn't for the cent it would be hard to believe they're miniatures! And I can say the same about the daffodils - you know by now... list above please. But you've "lost" a bunch of daffodils??? How could that ever happen??? *grin* Well, maybe for enabling me to judge how awesome, etc. etc. they really are... ;O) Happy Easter to all of you - and an extra greeting to Paulien with best wishes!
Hugs
Birgit (Who enjoyed looking at your landscape pictures very much - yesterday morning winter made it pretty clear around here that it has not given up yet. 10 cm of heavy, wet snow in just one night... *sigh*)
