Het andere verjaardagscadeau kwam van Birgit, die vast een
vooruitziende blik had wat betreft het bijtijds versturen van pakketpost. Birgit
stuurde me dit cadeau tegelijk met haar kerstkadootjes voor mij. Drie Duitse magazines
van 1 zu 12, verpakkingsdoosjes, ornamentjes en een lichtbox om foto’s te maken
van mijn miniaturen, WOW :O!!
Lieve Birgit, ik dank je uit de grond van mijn hart voor het
mogen ontvangen van deze lieve en attente kadootjes van jou, maar vooral voor
jouw warme vriendschap 💖
The other birthday gift came from Birgit, who must have had
foresight when it comes to sending packages on time, due the pandemic. Birgit
sent me this present along with her Christmas presents for me. Three German magazines
of 1 zu 12, packing boxes, ornaments and a light box for taking pictures of my
miniatures, WOW :O!!

Zoals ik in mijn vorige blogbericht al schreef, verwachtten
we afgelopen weekeinde hier, in Nederland, een paar centimeters sneeuwval.
Helaas viel dit in het oosten van Nederland nogal tegen maar mijn dochter heeft
hier handig op ingespeeld, ze heeft onze kleinzoon rond acht uur ’s avonds kennis
laten maken met de sneeuw. Normaliter ligt hij allang in bedje, maar voor deze
keer mocht hij opblijven. Nou genoten heeft hij, dankzij een live stream waren
we er toch een beetje bij !!!
Samen met hun hond, een ruwharige teckel, die dolblij was
met de sneeuw, hebben ze door de tuin gerend en met papa sneeuwballen (lach
niet, ze waren amper 1-2 cm groot) gegooid. Na een poos werden alle partijen
moe en is onze kleinzoon in zijn bedje naar dromenland vertrokken, maar hij
heeft het er nu nog over, zo leuk!!
Hoe fijn is het om van de kleine dingen in
het leven te kunnen genieten en dan vooral NU gedurende de pandemie?!
As I wrote in my previous blog post, last weekend we did
expect a few centimeters of snowfall here, in the Netherlands. Unfortunately
the amount of snow was quite disappointing in the east of the Netherlands, but
my daughter took advantage of this, she introduced our grandson to the snow,
when the snow arrived here in our regions around eight o'clock in the evening.
Normally he had been in bed for a long time, but for this occasion he was
allowed to stay up. Well, he enjoyed it to the fullest, we here have seen it
all thanks to a digital live stream !!!
Together with their dog, a wirehaired dachshund, who was
overjoyed with the snow, they ran together through the garden and threw
snowballs with Dad (don't laugh, the snow balls were just 1-2 cm tall). After a
short while all of them got tired and our grandson left for dreamland in his
bed, but now he is still talking about this adventure, so nice !!
How nice is
it to be able to enjoy the little things in life, especially NOW during this
pandemic?!
De rest van dit blog bericht is hoofdzakelijk bestemd voor
Joc, die in een reactie aan mij vroeg wat er dan met mijn leeslijst aan de hand
was. Nou, ik wil het aan de hand van foto’s, die ik vanmorgen heb gemaakt, aan
iedereen laten zien op welke wijze ik moet bloggen.
Ik wil jullie blogs volgen én lezen, maar hoe kan ik dat
doen als ik (zoals vaak gebeurd) vanmorgen dit op mijn leeslijst (blogger
dashboard) vond?? 20 updates en allemaal alleen van het blog van Megan Wallace
en van niemand anders. Blogger is helemaal de weg kwijt, want het zijn de
laatste blog berichten van Megan gedurende twéé jaar!!!??? Dat kan kloppen want
van Megan heb ik de afgelopen maanden niets gevonden, terwijl ze dus blijkbaar wel
berichten had gepost.
Mijn probleem is: nu denken mensen dat ik hun blogs niet
volg en dat is dus niet waar. Ik KAN ze niet volgen want ik kan geen volger
worden van blogs en ik krijg geen updates!
Nogmaals mijn
vraag: heeft iemand anders ook dit probleem? Moeten jullie ook op
andermans blogs gaan kijken of ze iets gepost hebben….? Daarvoor heb je toch je lezerslijst op je dashboard, of denk ik nu verkeerd? Kortom, ik heb al maanden dit probleem en ik ben hier niet echt blij mee.
Hoe dan ook, ik dank jullie voor jullie voor het lezen van
mijn blog en jullie fijne reacties, allemaal een fijne week toegewenst.

The rest of this blog post is mainly intended for Joc, who
asked me in a response what was wrong with my reading list and what readers
list. Herefore I want to show you pictures (printscreens) I took this morning of my
dashboard reading list, in order to show everyone on what way I have to blog.
I love to follow and read your blogs, but how can I do that
if I found this (as is often happening) on my reading list (blogger dashboard)
this morning: 20 updates and all only from Megan Wallace's blog and no one
else??!! Blogger is completely lost, because these are the last blog posts from
Megan for two years !!! ??? That may be correct because I haven't found any
blog posts from Megan in recent months, while apparently she had posted
messages.
My problem is: now people think I don't follow their blogs
and that's not true. I CAN'T follow them because I cannot become a follower of
their blogs and I also don't get any updates!
Again my question: does anyone else have this problem too?
Do you also have to check on other people's blogs to see if they have posted
anything….? Therefor we have the readinglist on our blogger dashboard, or am I wrong now? Basically,
I've had this problem now for months and I'm not happy about it.

J'ai d'autres problèmes avec Blogger, beaucoup de mal à insérer des photos !
Ici 25cm de neige sont tombés entre le 14 et le 15 janvier.
Hier, balade en forêt dans encore 20 cm de neige, des sentiers sur lesquels personne n'avait marché ! Nous avons eu l'immense plaisir de voir 3 chevreuils, une biche et ses deux petits !
La neige fond lentement.

Je vraag over je blog, ik kan ieder bericht lezen, geen probleem.
Ik zie dat ikzelf geen enkele reactie 's krijg op mijn blogs. Wel als ik iets op fb zet, maar niets meer in mijn blog. En dat is al een langere tijd. Misschien niet erg, maar wel jammer. Niet iedereen leest fb, er zouden bij mij dus ook mensen tussen moeten kunnen zitten die het niet kunnen lezen, ik heb het idee dat het nu is sinds de invoering van de nieuwe fase van blog. Heel jammer.
Ik probeer iemand die ik volg altijd een berichtje te sturen.
Ilona, nog van harte gefeliciteerd met je verjaardag. Wat leuk dat de mensen om je heen er zoveel aan gedaan hebben om je een fijne dag te wensen.

Hi Ilona. My blogger has been odd lately too. It doesn’t always update daily (but usually does) with new blog posts from people I follow. After a couple of days, it updates. I think that you have many posts from Megan (or other bloggers from time to time) because they have updated those posts, for example added a tag. If you scroll down through the list and click on the “load more” button you will eventually get other bloggers posts. Hope this helps a little.

Van harte gefeliciteerd met jouw verjaardag! Zo te lezen hebben jullie er ondanks de beperkingen toch een mooie en memorabele dag van mogen maken. Het is je meer dan gegund!
De eerste sneeuw van deze winter. Het was niet veel en het duurde kort. Bij ons kwam het in de middag en hebben we met de hond een mooie stille wandeling in een bos vlakbij gemaakt. Maar de volgende dag was het alweer weg inderdaad. Wat leuk dat jouw kleinzoon zijn eerste sneeuwdag met prest heeft meegemaakt. Een mooi moment.
In mijn leeslijst gebeurt niets vreemds. Ik krijg geen oude berichten te zien en volgens mij mis ik ook geen berichten. Ik zou niet weten hoe je dit kan oplossen. Misschien als je de gevolgde blogs ontvolgd en daarna weer volgt?

What wonderful and thoughtful gifts from your grandson and family. I just love the full size drawing from your special little boy. Not only is it a nice gift now, when you can't see and hug him in person, but it will also be a fun thing to have in years to come when he is bigger and you can show him just how little he was.
About the reading list. Like you, I had dozens of posts from Megan just the other day and I wonder if Shannon's suggestion about small updates in the posts might be the reason. It doesn't explain why we didn't get the original posts though, does it?
This technology is great for keeping in touch, but oh so frustrating when it doesn't work how you expect it to.

Your kids found the perfect way to compensate not seeing you in person - the idea with the breakfast box is priceless. My, what a way to start the new life year... with uncountable new calories on the hips *broadgrin*... but each of them totally worth. And did I even spot a LED tealight in the middle of the box? They thought of everything!
And the background for the farm is such a thoughtful gift... but the best is of course this very special picture. The best birthday gift ever... one to cherish forever.
I had to giggle while trying to imagine your grandson and his Dad throwing teenytiny snowballs... I bet one of them had serious difficulties due to his size... but a good Dad can't be stopped by trivial things like big hands. *teehee* So cute to hear your grandson enjoyed his snow adventure so much...
I hope your blogger troubles will go away or somebody will come along with a solution. As I've told you I had this problem just once and everything was normal again the next time. Fingers crossed it will be the same for you!

Dear Ilona, Once again I am so LATE to comment!!! Happy Birthday!!!! And what a wonderful remote celebration you had! The picture "hug" is adorable!!!
As for the blog list problems.... I do see that my own recent post was in that list where it should be. I have no idea why Megan's posts were all in the list. I do not read my blogs from the blogger page... I use the gadget that puts them in the side bar of my post "My blog list" is the title and they update regularly. I wish I knew more and could suggest a helpful fix.
