Miss Piggy

Na het aankleden van poppen heb ik eerst eens even de rommel opgeruimd, mijn tafel lag vol met van alles. Daarnaast had ik ook in het dagelijks leven van alles te doen, dus duurde het een poosje vóór ik weer eens iets in miniatuur gedaan heb.

Over rommeltje gesproken……….het volgende karweitje was (weer) één grote bende!! Zoals jullie misschien nog zullen weten, hoop ik ooit nog eens de tijd te vinden om de boerderij van mijn grootouders in 1:12 schaal na te bouwen. Hiervoor zal ik allerlei boerderijdieren nodig hebben en nu heb ik na maanden van speuren eindelijk in de kringloopwinkel het geluk gehad om een varken en biggetje van Schleich te vinden. En een kijkje in de stoffen- en wolhoek leverde zelf een streng scheerwol op inde goede kleur, tadaa :D!!

Ik heb geprobeerd beiden te bewerken met wol, nou, dat is ook een vak apart, hoor ;). Ik heb de methode van ‘beharen’ op deze site gevonden en deze nu (voor eigen gebruik!!) ook eens uitgeprobeerd.: http://paizleypawz.com/392932/about/

After making clothes for the dolls of Patricia, at first I've cleaned up the mess: my table was filled with lots of all sort of things. At the same time I had to do a lot of things in RL, so it took a while before I could make something in miniature.

Speaking about a mess…….my next chore gave me (again) one big mess!! As you probably will know, I hope ever to find the time for building the farm of my grand parents, this time in 1:12 scale. And for this farm I’ll need all sort of farm animals and recently I was so lucky to finally find a pig and a piglet of Schleich in the thrift store. And a search in the craft section resulted for me in a strand of wool, even in the suitable color, tadaa :D!

Eerst heb ik de huid een meer realistischer kleurtje gegeven met acrylverf in een zachtere huidskleur en hier en daar werd de huid besmeurd met poep- en vuilvekken, maar goed dat jullie die niet kunnen ruiken ;D!

Omdat ik niet wist of dit karwei mij zou lukken, heb ik van deze eerste fases geen foto’s gemaakt, sorry.

Firstly I've repainted the skin with acrylic paint in a more realistic skin tone and the skin got 'locally' spots of dirt and poo, I think it’s good that you can’t smell them ;D!

I didn’t know if this chore would succeed on forehand, so I haven’t taken pictures of the first phases, I’m sorry.

Toen de snuit aan de beurt was, heb ik de ogen van wimpers voorzien, zó deed dit varken me gelijk aan een vrolijke Miss Piggy denken, best lollig J! Toch moeten ze nog wat bijgeknipt worden, maar eerst moeten ik de vacht nog fixeren, daarna zal ik ze bijwerken voor Piggy ;)!

At the time that I was busy with the muzzle, I did foresee the eyes of eyelashes, this way this pig made me immediately think of a cheerful Miss Piggy, funny, huh J! They must be trimmed a bit shorter yet, but first I have to fixate the fur yet, than I will cut them in shape for Piggy ;)!

Het biggetje heb ik alleen een beter kleurtje gegeven met acrylverf, ik denk dat zo wel kan.

The piglet is repainted in a better skin color, I think this way it's good as it is.

De laatste foto laat het opnieuw gemodelleerde staartje zien van Miss Piggy, ik denk dat ik daar nog even met een likje verf langs ga, want geen enkel achterwerk van een varken ziet er zó mooi schoon uit ;D!

The last picture shows the remodeled curl tail of Miss Piggy, I think that I should go along there with a lick of paint, because there are no animal buttocks, and especially not of a pig, which look so very clean ;D!
