Warming up voor de Kerst ;)? / Warming up for Christmas ;)?

Wat een geweldige verrassing om precies op 5 december een pakje te mogen ontvangen van mijn goede blogvriendin, Birgit! Wie in de blogwereld kent Birgit en haar gevoel voor humor niet? Birgit maakt de leukste beertjes en ze is ook de spirituele moeder van Schepje. Hij is de mooiste sneeuwmanbeer van de hele wereld, vind ik!! Wat deze beertjes van haar zo speciaal maakt, is dat ze een speciale look, naam en een geheel eigen persoonlijkheid meekrijgen van Birgit.

Exactly on the 5th of December I was greatly surprised by receiving a package from my dear blog friend, Birgit! Who in the blogworld doesn't know Birgit and her great sense of humor? Birgit makes the most cute bearies and she also is the spiritual Mommy of Schepje. I think he is the most beautiful snowman beary of the whole wide world! These bearies are so special because of every bearie gets his/her special look, name and a quite own personality from Birgit.

Birgit weet dat wij in Nederland in deze maand ook Sinterklaas vieren en daarom mocht ik gelijk een kadootje op die dag openmaken. Dat had de postbode eens eventjes mooi gemikt: het WAS Sinterklaasdag ;)!! In het eerste pakje zat deze prachtige zelfgemaakte Adventskalender (ik had er tot nu toe geen), waar ik heel blij mee ben.

Birgit also knows that we celebrate Sinterklaas too in The Netherlands and therefore I could unpack immediately one of the gifts on thursday. It was a great coincidence that the postman delivered her package just on that day: Sinterklaas-day ;)!! In the first gift there was this beautiful Advent calendar (I didn't have one until now), so I am very happy with it.

En daar was-tie dan……..Schepje!!  

Hij is helemaal in de Kerstmodus, hoedje......uh op, waar heb je dat nou weer vandaan?!

Het was nog niet zo eenvoudig dat wegschuiven van al die labeltjes van de kalender, want hoe kom je daar nou bij, als je geen beentjes hebt en zo klein bent, zoals hij? Gewoon even de miniatuur bloemenstandaard lenen en die als trap gebruiken toch! Het eerste labeltje opzij schuiven en hij ziet.......Flutterby, de beroemdste beer van Birgit :D!

And there he was……Schepje :D!!

He is completely in the Xmas mood, hat.....huh on, where do you get this odd hat from?!

It wasn’t that simple to slide away all those labels on the calender, because how do you get there, if you have no legs and you are so small like him? Well, you just have to loan a miniature flower standard and you use it like a kind of stairs! Slide away the first label and he sees......Flutterby, the most famous bearie of Birgit :D!

Voor de tweede moest hij op de knietjes (die hij niet heeft) en dáár zag hij warempel zichzelf in onze eigen tuin sneeuw aan het ruimen! Nou, dat kan nog leuk worden als dat zo doorgaat met al die bereleuke foto's :D!

For the second one he had to go on his knees (which he doesn’t have) and sure enough thére he saw himself in our own garden, shovelling snow! Well, that can be big fun, if it goes on like that with all those beary funny pictures ;)! 

 Schepje heeft in ieder geval op deze manier een goede warming up voor het sneeuwruimen als dat deze winter nodig mocht zijn ;)!!

This way Schepje has at least a good warming up for all the snow shoveling, if that will be necessary this coming winter ;)!!

In het tweede kadootje zat een doosje échte marsepein, iets waar ik dol op ben en dat had Birgit goed onthouden.

In the second gift was a box of real marzipan, that’s something I am very fond of and Birgit did remember this very well.

Er was ook een geinig Kerstmannetje in een doosje, die heel toevallig ook "Klaas" heette. Birgit zou Birgit niet zijn om daar een grap over te maken vanwege mijn Klaas Vaak, die NIET de Kerstman is, zoals velen nog steeds denken…..verwarrend, hoor :D!

There also was a funny Santa in a small box , who coincidentally has the name "Klaas". Birgit wouldn’t be Birgit, if she didn't joked about this, because of my Klaas Vaak, who really is NOT Santa, like many of you abroad still think he is…….yes, it's rather confusing :D!

Nu moet ik wachten totdat het Kerstmis wordt, dan pas mag ik het laatste kadootje openmaken en ik ben nu al zooo nieuwsgierig ;)! Wordt dus vervolgd.....

Now I have to wait until it will be Christmas day, then I may open the last gift and I am already soooo curious ;)! To be continued......

Lieve Birgit, dankjewel voor deze super verrassing, ook namens Schepje, die nu uitgeteld op bed ligt na deze giga warming up :D!
