Plantenblad met kerstbomen er op? / Plant leaves with Christmas trees on it?

Twee weken voor Kerstmis was ik op de weekmarkt bij ons in het dorp en kreeg ik van de bloemenman twee cyclamen voor niets. Het was vriesweer en nadat ik thuis kwam, erg blij vanwege dit mooie onverwachte kadootje, nam ik wat foto’s van deze planten.

Ik kreeg een rode en een witte, echte Kerst-kleuren, maar na een paar uurtjes lieten ze hun hoofdjes hangen. De overgang van de vrieskoude buiten en de warmte van de cv binnen werd hen fataal. Mijn vreugde was voorbij, maar opeens herinnerde ik me: ik heb de foto’s, dus laten we proberen deze cyclamen eens in miniatuur te maken!

Two weeks before Christmas I got two cyclamen for free from the flower merchant on the week market in our village. It was frosty weather and after I came home, very cheerful because of this quite unexpected gift, I took some pictures of these plants.

I got a red and a white one, real Christmas colors, but after a few hours they let hang their flower heads. The transition from the frosty air outside and the heat of the heating inside was them fatal. My joy was gone, but at once I remembered me:  I have the pictures, so lets try to make those cyclamen in miniature!

De bloempot is vierkant en meet aan de bovenkant 12 vierkante millimeter. 

The flowerpot is square and measures at the upper side 12 square millimeter.

Dank jullie voor je fijne reacties! Ik heb tot nu toe nog maar één miniatuur cyclaam gemaakt, Gee, omdat het erg tijdrovend werk is om al die kleine (bloem- en planten)blaadjes in te kleuren en te maken. Ik wil proberen om ook nog een rode te maken.

Ik heb inmiddels nog een andere cyclaam gekocht als voorbeeld voor mijn werk en die doet het ook niet goed, ik denk niet dat ie de nieuwe week haalt ;) Deze 1:1 cyclaam heb ik gebruikt om mijn miniatuur plantje te laten zien, in de rode cirkel staat de “baby”.

Fiona, je hebt gelijk over de temperatuurwisseling, de echte planten kunnen hier niet tegen!

Thank you for your kind comments! I have made one cyclamen in miniature, Gee, because it is very time consuming work to color and to make all those tiny petals and plant leaves. I'll try to make a red one too.

In the meanwhile I have bought another cyclamen as an example for my work and that one doesn’t do well either, I think it doesn’t survive until next week ;) I used this 1:1 cyclamen to show you my miniatuur plant, in the red circle is the “baby”.

Fiona, you’re right about the temperature change, the real plants can’t stand this!
