The baking of my miniature cake started with the cap of a
cardboard milk carton. I just wanted to throw it away in the bin, when I
thought that the shape of this lid looked like a oven dish for baking quiches.
From there it was still a little step to a cake pan, for baking a cake and
together with a bit of air drying clay my mini cake was born/baked ;)!

First of all I had to make a cake pan and after a quick
search on the internet I came across Tanja, of SugarCharmShop, here is the

After the making, while I gave the cake pan a bit color, an
other idea came to me of doing something different than usual, namely baking a
black burnt cake ;D!
This way you don’t see anything special at the cake, but….
goed conditie J.
….if you take the cake out of the cake pan, the bottomside
is not in a good condition J.
Here I’ve cut off in bits and pieces the black burnt bottom
of the cake, so I can still eat the better half of the cake. So, baking a
miniature cake is not always a piece of a cake, I know better now ;)!
Thank you for your comments, have a nice week(end)!
Ilona
