In januari kwam ik op de poppenhuisbeurs in Houten bij
(althans voor mij) een nieuwkomer in de miniatuurwereld. Ze maakt 3D geprinte
miniaturen, onder andere meubels, dit is haar website: https://www.dollhousedesign.nl/
Ik heb toen onderstaande witte lockerkast en een ‘stalen’
bureau gekocht en nu heb ik ze bewerkt met krijtverf:
On the miniatures fair in Houten (The Netherlands) I came
across a newcomer (at least she was for me) in the world of miniatures. She
creates 3D printed miniatures, inter alia furniture, this is her website: https://www.dollhousedesign.nl/
It was than that I bought this white locker
cabinet and a ‘metal’ desk below and now I’ve edited them with chalk paint:
Een beetje tuinman/vrouw heeft toch een soort van werktafel en
kast om zijn/haar spullen in te bewaren, niet waar, dus ook in het miniatuur ;). In ieder geval was het
voor mij een goede start om terug te gaan naar het maken van planten/bloemen in
miniatuur.
Every gardener does have a sort of work table and cupboard
for storing his/her tools in, isn’t it, so also one in miniature ;). Anyhow, for me it was a good
start for going back in making plants/flowers in miniature.
Als eerste heb ik een kleine geranium gemaakt en dat geplant
in een piepklein terracotta potje (gekocht bij Lisbeth Pedersen, zij was
aanwezig op de 1 zu 12 Messe in Rheda, Duitsland).
Firstly I made a small geranium and I planted it in a
terracotta flower pot (bought from Lisbeth Pedersen, she attended the 1zu12
Messe in Rheda, Germany).
Oké, dat was nummer één, nog veel te gaan, als ik zo al die
potjes hier zie staan ;O.
De plastic kratten zijn ook gekocht bij dollhousedesign.nl.
Okay, that’s number one, lots to go, as I here see all these
flower pots ;O.
The plastic crates are also bought from dollhousedesign.nl.
Ook heb ik een stekje van een geranium gemaakt, zo eentje
die in een glas water staat om te ‘wortelen’. Glas is gekocht bij The Little Dollhouse Company uit Canada, zij stonden ook in Rheda, Duitsland, op de show.
Maar een kaal plantje, of stekje, is zo saai, dan maar
bloemen eraan gemaakt, staat toch leuker, hè?
I also made a cutting from a geranium, one which is standing
for some time in a glass of water for ‘getting’ roots. The glass is bought from
The Little Dollhouse Company from Canada, they also exhibited at the show in Rheda,
Germany.
But a bare plant, or cutting, is so boring, so I also made a
few flowers, that looks more nice, don’t you think?
De lange winterstop met het maken van planten heeft me goed gedaan:
ik heb er echt weer zin in, eens kijken wat het volgende zal worden J!

The long winter break in making plants, has clearly done me
well: I'm really looking forward to see what the next one will be :)!
