Regenboogkleuren / Rainbow colors

In een van mijn vorige blog berichten had ik het over visserslatijn, weet je nog? Nou, deze blog post sluit daar op aan. 

In one of my previous blog posts I wrote about fisherman’s gain, do you remember? Well, this post is connected to that one. 

In mijn échte voordeur zit glas, bedekt met een soort folie, wat bij zonneschijn een mooi effect aan regenboogkleuren geeft op de halvloer :D! Waarom ik over regenboogkleuren schrijf...?

In my RL frontdoor are glass windows and they are covered with a sort of foil, so if the sun is shining this gives a wonderful effect of rainbow colors on the floor of my entrance hall :D! Why am I writing about rainbow colors...?

Nou, ik heb vis gebakken van Fimo klei ;)! Regenboogforellen om precies te zijn. Om ze te kunnen maken heb ik op internet deze prachtige tutorial gevonden:

Well, I’ve baked fish of Fimo clay ;)! Rainbow trouts to be exact. To make them I’ve found this beautiful tutorial on the internet:

En als je dan toch met vissen maken bezig bent, dan maak je gelijk ook wat regenwormen van Fimo klei erbij (Joc, http://jicolin.blogspot.com deed die suggestie ;)!)

In een van de pieren zit een klein haakje, mee gebakken (het 3 mm grote laser cut miniatuur haakje is gekocht bij “Le mini di Pierluigi”) ;O!

And if you’re busy with making fishes, you can at the same time also make some earthworms of Fimo clay (merci Joc, http://jicolin.blogspot.com who did this suggestion ;)!)

In one of the worms there is a small hook, I've baked it together (the laser cut miniature hook is just 3 mm long and is bought of “Le mini di Pierluigi”) ;O!

Het schijnt dat er een bodempje gras in de vismand hoort te liggen, zodat je daarop je vers gevangen vis kunt leggen…….ik heb hier nog nooit van gehoord, maar oké, wat gras in het mandje en de vis erboven op!

(citaat van het internet: het gras zorgt ervoor dat de vis niet direct op de mandbodem in zijn eigen slijmlaag ligt en daardoor het bederf snel begint) Alweer wat nieuws geleerd ;)!

It seems that on the bottom of your fish creel belongs a layer of grass, so you can put the frsh caught fish on the grass…..never heard this before, but okay, I did some grass in the fish creel and the fish on top of it!

En omdat het te donker was op mijn werkkamer om een goede foto te maken, heb ik op de voordeurmat in de zon gelegen. In een waterval van regenboogkleuren met mijn nieuwe vismandje én de regenboogforel erin. Zie je het voor je ;D!? De foto is gelukt, gelukkig voor me kwam de postbode niet langs….

And because it was too dark in my workroom for taking a good picture, I was lying in the sun on the frontdoor mat. In a waterfall of rainbow colors with my new fish creel AND the fish in it. Can you imagine ;D? The picture was successful, fortunately for me the postman didn’t came by….

Van een houten ronde kraal met een likje verf heb ik nog een extra dobber gemaakt voor Tom. Deze deugniet is graag buiten, loopt blootvoets en hij vist graag.

I’ve made an extra bobber for Tom, it’s made of a wooden round bead with a bit of paint. This rascal loves to be outside, goes barefoot and he loves to fish. 

Ik heb voor Tom een tuinbroek en bloesje gemaakt en een kapotte strohoed opgezet, hij lijkt zo wel een beetje op Tom Sawyer ;). Ook deze pop is gemaakt door Patricia, ( www.woolytalesminiatures.blogspot.com )en binnenkort reist hij samen met de andere popjes, die klaar zijn, terug naar de USA.

I've made for Tom a dungarees and blouse and I gave him a broken-down straw hat, this way he looks a bit like Tom Sawyer ;). This doll is also made by Patricia,( www.woolytalesminiatures.blogspot.com ) and soon he will travel with some other dolls, which are finished, back to the USA.

                                           

Afgelopen zaterdag was het hier erg mooi weer, zelfs ongeveer 22 oC!! Voor Tom reden genoeg om al heel vroeg te gaan vissen. Zó vroeg dat het bij de sloot nog wat duister én nevelig was (in werkelijkheid een reflectie op mijn achtergrondfoto, ach ja)…;O)!

Last Saturday we had here in The Netherlands the most beautiful weather, it was even about 22 oC!! For Tom reason enough to go fishing very early in the morning. It was so early, that it was still a bit darksome ánd misty around the ditch (in reality it's a reflection on my background picture, oh well)...;O)!

Later in de ochtend ben ik even bij hem gaan kijken en hij vertelde me dat hij zó’n grote vis had gevangen, echt! Ja, ja, gevangen in deze sloot……? Nou, dat is visserslatijn, Tommie ;)!

Later in the morning I went to see him and he told me that he had caught a fish of that big size, yes, really! Hmm, and you caught it in this ditch.....? Well, that's fisherman's gain, Tommy ;)!
