Gezien tijdens mijn fietstocht :D / Seen while I was biking :D
De afgelopen dagen werden we “verwend” met een paar zonnige
dagen, eindelijk!! Het was hier al geruime tijd erg grijs, er leek geen eind
aan te komen.
Maandag was ik in mijn tuin op speurtocht om te zien of mijn
bloemen ook lente wilden gaan vieren ;)!
Ineens merkte ik dat ik al een poosje een vreemd geluid
hoorde, ik kon het niet zo gauw thuis brengen. Ik ging rechtop staan, keek in
de blauwe lucht en ja hoor, daar zag ik ze: honderden kraanvogels!!
In the past few days we were "spoiled" by a few sunny
days, finally!! It was very grey weather in the last few weeks, it seemed
endless to me.
On Monday I was in my garden on a quest for flowers, I
wanted to see if they also wanted to start celebrate spring ;)!
Suddenly I noticed I was hearing a strange noise, at first I
couldn’t find what it was. I straightened my back, looked in the blue sky and
yes, there they were: hundreds of European cranes!!
Ze cirkelden even rond in de blauwe lucht recht boven ons huis, op zoek naar thermiekbel. Het was een prachtig gezicht, daarna vlogen ze door naar het noordoosten. Ik wist dat kraanvogels de oostkant
van Nederland schampten op hun trek naar het noorden (of in het najaar naar het
zuiden). Maar ik had het geluk ze nu eens overdag en in een onbewolkte lucht te zien én het waren er buitengewoon veel!

house looking for a thermal column. It was a beautiful view, then they continued their way in the northeastern direction. I knew cranes
could "touch" the outher eastside of The Netherlands on their
migration to the north (or in autumn to the south). But now I had the luck to see them by daylight and in a clear blue sky ánd there were extremely much cranes!
On the map of Wikipedia you can see their migration routes.
Ik ben naar binnen gerend, heb mijn fototoestel gepakt en snel terug naar buiten foto’s maken, wat een mazzel……………….maar dan moet je wel je camera instellen op veraf :D!! Omdat ik zo klein werk staat hij altijd standaard op macro! Stom, maar ik heb wel foto’s én je kunt zien dat het kraanvogels zijn, als je weet waar je op moet letten ;)! Zij vliegen namelijk in grote lijnen of in V-formatie, maar in tegenstelling tot reigers vliegen kraanvogels altijd met gestrekte hals.
Je kunt op de link naar Wikipedia ook zien, dat de kraanvogels (die hier vlak over de Duitse grens vlogen) naar Scandinavië vliegen.
I ran inside, I grabbed my camera and ran quickly back outside to take some pictures, what luck ................... but, then you have to set your camera on several more meters of distance, of course :D and I didn't notice that!! Because I work with miniatures my camera is set standard on macro! Stupid, but I do have pictures and you can see that those birds are cranes, if you know where to look for ;)! They fly in large lines or in V-formation, but unlike herons cranesalways fly with outstretched neck.
You also can see on the link of Wikipedia, that the cranes (who flew over our house close near the German border) fly to Scandinavia.

Laatste nieuws: de weermannen beweren dat de
winter volgende week weer terug komt met ijs en sneeuw??? We zullen het zien……en die koe moet echt weer naar binnen!
