Het gaat beter met de patiënten hier in huis, Kleine Ikke
heeft nu een ‘nieuw’ beentje gekregen en ik heb de griep uitgezwaaid. Ik voel me
nog zo slap als een vaatdoek, maar dat kan alleen maar beter worden, toch ;)?
Here, the patients in the house, are getting better, Little
Me now got a ‘new’ leg and I said goodbye to the flu. I still feel quite weak, but this
won’t stay forever, isn’t it ;)?!
Na het verwijderen van het verband mag Kleine Ikke weer
voorzichtig aan gaan lopen, maar totdat ze helemaal hersteld zal zijn, verwent
haar vriend Schepje haar door en door. Ze mag zelfs zijn stripboeken van
Dagobert Duck lezen (boekjes zijn gemaakt door Birgit, zijn geestelijke moeder,

Little Me can carefully practice with walking again after removing the
bandage, but until she will be totally recovered, her friend Schepje spoils her
very much. She is even allowed to read his comic books (books are made by

En sinds we nog steeds de heleboel bij elkaar hoesten, leek
het mij niet verstandig om met bloemenzijdepapier in de weer te zijn. Daarom
werd er naar een passende ‘therapie’ voor deze zieke gezocht, hihihi, kleien (Fimo) is
voor mij zeker geen straf, dus….
And since we are still coughing our longs out of our body, I
thought it wasn’t wise to work with silkpaper and making flowers. Therefore we looked for
a suiting ‘therapy’ for this patient, hehehe, playing with Fimo clay is surely not a punishment
for me, so….
…een bijpassend onderwerp was natuurlijk vitaminekes maken, zoals
mandarijntjes en afgepelde schillen...
…a fitting subject was making vitamins, such as mandarins and peeled peels...
...en sinaasappels en –partjes, want vitaminen behoren altijd tot het dieet voor zieken ;).
…and oranges and parts of oranges, because vitamins always belong to the diet of sick
people ;).
De man op de foto hierboven is in mijn buurt de hoge eikenbomen aan
het snoeien. Hij wiebelt, op zo’n 15 meter boven de grond, in het bakje van de
hoogwerker…nou, hij liever als ik, vooral met die straffe koude wind van vandaag. Of ik
nog geschaatst heb? Nee, ik was te ziek en daarna te laat, want het ijs was
alweer weg. Maar de laatste foto heb ik vanmorgen kunnen maken, toen ik, goed
ingepakt tegen de kou, een klein wandelingetje ging maken. Dus ben ik toch nog
even in de winter geweest ;).

The man on this above photo was busy pruning the high oak trees in
my neighborhood. He wobbles, at about 15 meters above the ground, in a open
cabin of the hydraulic arm...well, he rather than me, especially with that strong,
cold wind of today. Whether I have skated? No, I was too ill and too late,
because the ice was already melted after then. But this morning I was able to
take the last picture, when I went out for a short walk, well packed against
the cold. So I still have a touch of winter ;).
