Eerst nog deze tulpjes met bol gemaakt voor de aankomende DHN-show
op 2-3 april in Ulft.
De glazen bolletjes onderin de vaas heb ik jaren geleden gevonden
in een ‘rommelbak’ bij de plaatselijke handwerkwinkel.
…. so I treat myself on a whiff of spring mood in mini.
Firstly I’ve made these two tulips with bulb for the coming
DHN-show at 2-3 april in Ulft.
Years ago I’ve found in the local craft shop a tray full of
hodgepodge. Therein were the glass no hole beads, which are now at the bottom
of the vase.

Een paar weken geleden ben ik ook begonnen met het maken van
een miniatuur bonsai op een platte schaal, op de beurs gekocht bij Fennicole
Miniatures, hun website: http://www.fennicole-miniatures.nl/
Bij de bloemenwinkel hier in de buurt heb ik vorig jaar wat takjes
van een echte bonsai gekocht. Het leek me leuk om eens een Prunus bonsai te
maken in miniatuur. Nou, dat heb ik geweten, wat gaan er veel bloemblaadjes op
één zo’n boompje. Je ziet het er niet aan af, maar het zijn er veel meer dan 100,
toen ben ik gestopt met tellen ;)!
A few weeks ago I also started making a miniature bonsai on
a flat dish. I’ve bought it on the miniature fair of Finnicole Miniatures,

Last year I’ve bought a few teeny tiny branches of a RL
bonsai in the flower shop, here in the village. I thought it would be fun to
make a Prunus bonsai in miniature. Well, that was quite a chore, you know,
there go lots of petals on one bonsai. You nearly can’t see it, but there are
much more than 100 petals, then I stopped counting ;)!
Bij de laatste foto van een 'werk-in-uitvoering' (en nee, deze
is niet onduidelijk, maar gewoon sterk uitvergroot ;)) een vraag: wat zou dit
zijn??
