Aan deze stripfiguren moest ik denken, terwijl ik bezig was
om mini olijfjes te maken van Fimoklei. Tja, een mens zijn/haar gedachten gaan
vaak alle kanten op tijdens het maken van miniaturen, hè ;)?!
I had to think of these cartoon characters, while I was busy
in making miniature olives, out of Fimo clay. Ah you know, one’s thought can
jump to everywhere when you’re making miniatures, isn’t it ;)?!
Terwijl ik zo bezig was heb ik geprobeerd een paar van deze
mini olijfjes op een mini cocktail prikker (gemaakt van bamboe, welke in
smallere stukjes is gesneden met een hobby mes) te steken. Dat viel nog niet
mee om te doen, die olijfjes zijn zó klein: 1 mm breed x 3 mm lang. Maar voor
de olijfjes op de foto’s is het gelukt :).
Whilst I was busy, I tried to prick some of these mini
olives on a mini cocktail stick (made of bamboo, which is cut up with a hobby
knife into smaller parts). It was not easy to do, because thse olives are sooo
tiny: 1 mm wide x 3 mm long. But just for the olives on the pictures I managed
to do it :).
Voor het maken van deze bovenstaande foto’s heb ik een
graankorrel geplet, zodat de olijfjes erop konden liggen.
For taking these pictures above, I've crushed a wheat grain,
so that the olives could lie on it.
In het schaaltje zit de reflectie van daglicht, het is niet beschadigd ;)
You see the reflection of daylight in the bowl, it's not damaged ;)
En hup, alle 6 samen in een prachtig, piepklein schaaltje (diameter is 10 mm), en gemaakt door Marike Schenning.
