Happy…..

Al maanden geleden heb ik een schedel gemaakt, van Fimo klei, met een speciaal doel. Nee, niet voor Halloween maar voor een miniatuur scène, die nog gemaakt moet gaan worden.

Maar…..voor Halloween komt deze schedel mooi van pas, hij kan er zelfs om lachen ;O)!

 

Months ago I made a skull, out of Fimo clay, for a special purpose. No, not for Halloween but for a miniature scene that has yet to be made.

But…..for Halloween this skull came in handy, he even laughs about it ;O)!

Voor het creëren van deze scène had ik bijna alles in huis, het enige wat ik niet voorhanden had, waren een paar botten, pijpbeenderen wel te verstaan. Die zijn gemaakt van Fimoklei en vandaag nog vers uit de oven gekomen en moesten vanmiddag nog afgewerkt worden. 

Dat had tot gevolg dat ik vlak vóórdat de zon onderging nog snel wat foto’s kon maken.

 

For creating this scene I had almost everything at home, the only thing I didn't have available were a couple of long bones, or femora. So, these are made of Fimo clay and they came fresh from the oven today and still had to be finished this afternoon. 

As a result, I was able to take some pictures quickly just before the sun went down.

Ze hebben niet de beste kwaliteit, maar ik ben blij dat het gelukt is EN daardoor kregen ze wel een mooie sfeervolle uitstraling, kijk zelf maar… ;O)

They don’t have the best quality, but I am happy that I succeeded AND that therefore they got a nice atmospherical look, see for yourself…. ;O).

Hier, in Nederland, viert niet iedereen Halloween, bovendien mogen de kinderen nu niet overal langs de huizen gaan. En vanwege de pandemie kunnen mensen met krijt, op ongeveer 1,5 meter van hun voordeur, een kruis op hun stoep zetten en ze mogen de kinderen alleen maar ‘verpakt’ snoep mogen geven. Tja, laten we er met zijn allen maar het beste van maken en voor wie Halloween viert: Happy Halloween!!!

Here, in the Netherlands, not everyone celebrates Halloween, in addition, children are now not allowed to go along houses in every region. And due to the pandemic people have to write with chalk a cross on the pavement, about 1,5 meters away from their frontdoor and they can only give the children "wrapped" candy. Well, let's all make the best of it and for those who celebrate Halloween: Happy Halloween!!!

Happy Hallieween!!

Een “glow in the dark” spin in zijn web……..

A “glow in the dark” spider in his web…..

……is het kostuum van Hallie, die dit jaar voor het eerst Halloween viert ;)!

Hiervoor heb ik op een stukje stof met glow in the dark nagellak een grote spin geschilderd, maar het fotograferen lukte niet echt, jammer.

Gekleed in een rafelige zwarte jurk met een heksenhoed op haar hoofd en een masker voor haar ogen heeft ze met de andere kinderen in de buurt héél hard “BOO” geroepen!

For this job I’ve tried for painting on a piece of fabric a big spider with glow in the dark nail polish, but unfortunately the photographing didn’t work out quite well. 

Dressed in a frayed black dress, a witch hat on her head and a mask for her eyes, she called out very loud "BOO" with the other children in the neighborhood!

Maar het ging haar niet alleen om het hard “BOO” roepen, nee natuurlijk niet, het ging ook om de traktatie: een pompoen vol lekkere lollies :D!!

But she did not just for yelling loud "BOO", of course not, it also was for the treat: a pumpkin full of yummy lollies :D!!

Mmmm, lekker!!! / Mmmm, yummy!!

Ik heb haar heksenhoed gemaakt van papier met een stukje ijzerdraad in de punt, zodat de hoed van boven geknakt lijkt. De hoed is versierd met veren en wat bling bling (heb ik ooit gekregen van Birgit, http://biwubaer.blogspot.com ) en twee kleine pompoentjes (decoratie materiaal).

I’ve made a witch hat of paper with a piece of wire in the top of the hat, it had to look a bit crooked. The hat is decorated with feathers and some bling-bling (I have ever got these gems of Birgit,

http://biwubaer.blogspot.com ) and two little pumpkins (decoration material).

De bezem was een kadootje, de lampion (bloem) komt uit de tuin van mijn vriendin, Annet J. De pompoenen en het stoeltje zijn door mij gemaakt.

Hallie is gemaakt door Patricia, www.woolytalesminiatures.blogspot.com  die zo aardig was om mij toestemming te geven om één van haar popjes voor een Halloween blog te mogen gebruiken :D! Hallie is aangekleed door mij.
