Rood Wit en Blauw.... / Red White and Blue….

Deze kleuren heeft de Nederlandse vlag en die mag vandaag uit mét de oranje wimpel in top………………….omdat vandaag de zomer eindelijk haar gezicht eens laat zien in ons land!!

Op een van mijn avondwandelingen kwam ik langs mooie korenvelden en dat werkte inspirerend voor mij. Het koren begint al highlights (zoals bij de kapper :D) van het zomerse weer te krijgen en dat geeft mij altijd een fijn zomers gevoel. Ik woon in een prachtig glooiend gebied met boerderijen en akkerbouw en veeteelt.  In en rond die korenvelden groeien dan ook prachtige klaprozen, margrieten en……..blauwe korenbloemen! En natuurlijk moest ik een poging wagen om ze in het miniatuur na te maken, omdat ik toch een lege vaas op mijn werktafel had staan :D! 

Ook mag de vlag uit voor mijn nieuwe volgers!

The Dutch flag has these colors and the flag was put out today WITH the orange pennant in top……………..because today finally the summer has shown her face in our country!!

On one of my walks in the evenings I passed beautiful wheat fields and it worked inspiring for me. The wheat already gets the blond color (like at the hairdresser :D) of the summer weather and it always gives me the pretty-summer-feeling. I live in a wonderful sloping agricultural area with farms, fields and (farm) animals. In and around the wheat fields are growing beautiful poppies, daisies and blue cornflowers! Of course I gave it a try to make them in miniature, because I had an empty vase on my worktable :D! 

I also put the flag out for my new followers!

Het miniatuur “koren” is een soort klein gras dat ik vorig jaar lopend langs een beek heb gevonden. Ik weet echter niet hoe het heet. Ik kijk altijd goed rond als ik wandel, dan geniet ik optimaal en kom altijd met zakken vol weer thuis, zoals waarschijnlijk veel miniaturisten doen ;)!

 The miniature "grain" is a kind of small grass, I've found it last year during a walk along the stream. I do not know what it is. When I walk, I always look around me, then I enjoy most and I always come home with my pockets full of stuff from Mother Nature, like many miniaturists do ;)!
