Passend bij de hete temperaturen van deze week / Suitable for this week's hot temperatures

Vanwege de hitte hier in mijn streek, alleen even wat foto’s van een takje met olijfjes in miniatuur.

Je kunt het bijna niet zien, maar er zitten behoorlijk veel blaadjes en olijven aan.

We zullen zien wat het zomerweer ons deze week zal brengen, maar voor mij persoonlijk belooft het niet veel goeds: het weerbericht zegt dat er een hittegolf op weg is hier naar toe. Het betreft een hete luchtstroom in de stratosfeer, direct vanuit Afrika naar het westelijke deel van Europa, die dus een flinke hittegolf veroorzaakt, en ook hier in Nederland.

Het spijt me, ik wil echt niet klagen en ik hoop positief te blijven, maar na mijn ervaringen van vorige zomer en vanwege mijn gezondheidsproblemen bij hoge temperaturen zal dat nou juist behoorlijk moeilijk zijn.

We’ll see what the summer weather will bring us this coming week, but for me in person it doesn't promise any good: the weather forecast says there's a heatwave on its way. It concerns a hot air stream in the stratosphere, rightaway from Africa to the western part of Europe, which is causing a severe heatwave, and also here, in The Netherlands.

I'm sorry, I really don't want to complain and I hope to stay positive, but after my bad experiences of last summer and due to my health issues during high temperatures that will be quite difficult.
