Een steekje laten vallen / Dropping a stitch

In juni van dit jaar heb ik jullie Nina voorgesteld: http://minimumloon.blogspot.nl/2015/06/geprobeerd-attempted.html weet je nog? Nou, na veel nadenken besloot ik toch maar om haar westerse kleding aan te trekken, dus werden de naaispullen tevoorschijn gehaald ;)! Vanzelfsprekend kreeg deze jonge vrouw een jeans aan en na wat nadenken besloot ik haar een gestreepte sweater te geven.

Last June I’ve introduced you Nina: http://minimumloon.blogspot.nl/2015/06/geprobeerd-attempted.html do you remember? Well, after a lot of thinking I’ve decided to give her a more western style of clothing, so I’ve put my sewing stuff on the work table ;)! Of course, this young woman got a pair of jeans and after some thinking I decided to give her a striped sweater.

Nadat ik de trui over haar hoofd aantrok gingen er aan de boordjes een aantal steekjes los, ja hoor: de stof begon te rafelen, dáár zat ik nou net niet op te wachten L. Dus zat er niets anders op dan alle steekjes (en dat waren er best veel) op te nemen met naald en een bijpassende, gekleurde draad.

Some stitches on the cuffs of the sweater went loose after I pulled her the sweater over her head and of course, the fabric started to fray, well, that was not exactly what I wanted :(. So, I couldn’t do anything else than take up all stitches (and there were quite a lot) with a sewing needle and a fitting, colored thread.

Ha, dat is beter en kijk eens, hoe trots ze poseert in haar nieuwe spullen ;)!

Volgende onderwerp: haar kapsel. Welke kleur en wat voor kapsel zal ik haar geven??

Ik koos voor zwart haar, maar ik had meteen het probleem van wat voor soort kapsel…..

Next subject: her hairdo. What color and what hairdo will I give her??

I chose for black hair, but I got immediately the next problem of what sort of hairdo…….

……krullen, vlechtjes, of rasta haar?

……curls, small braids, or rasta hair?

Ik vond het laatste beter bij haar persoonlijkheid staan, wat denken jullie?

I thought that the last option would fit better at her personality, what do you think?

Een aantal jaren geleden kocht ik deze laser cut brillen bij de stand van Le mini di Pierluigi op de beurs in Apeldoorn en daarvan heb ik er nu eentje gebruikt. Met een lekker felgroen kleurtje nagellak kreeg Nina een pittig brilletje op :D!

A few years ago on the miniature fair in Apeldoorn I’ve bought these laser cut eye glasses at the stand of Le mini di Pierluigi and now I used one of them. With a nice bright green color of nail polish Nina got a vivacious glasses on her nose :D!

Een paar goudkleurige vlindertjes, als oorbellen ( gekocht bij Sun: http://www.nalladris.com/a-37541497/vormen/4010-vlindertje/ óók op de DHN beurs in Apeldoorn) en klaar is Nina om te gaan!
