Verstoppertje / Hide and seek


Kun je me zien…? / Can you see me…?


En nu? / And now?


Nee? Echt niet? / No? Are you sure?


Nú kun je mij toch wel zien? / Are you sure you can’t see me now?



Nou, dáár is ze J!! / Well, there she is J!!


Ze verlaat haar nest.
She is leaving her nest.


Boven op de knotwilg kijkt ze om zich heen, of het wel veilig is om haar nest even te verlaten.
At the top of the pollarded willow she looks around her to see if it's safe to leave her nest for a while.


Nu kunnen wij mooi even een kijkje in haar nest nemen…
Now we get the nice opportunity to take a look in her nest…


….ooh, 10 puntgave, vuilgroene eitjes :D!!
….wow, 10 flawless, dirty green eggs :D!!


Deze 3 cm grote, wilde eend (vrouwtje) is door mij gemaakt van Fimo klei, daarna is ze beschilderd met pastelkrijt. Sorry voor de wazige foto: haar schutkleuren werkten prima, zelfs voor de camera ;)!

This 3 cm large mallard (female) is made by me of Fimo clay, then she was painted with soft pastels.
Sorry for the blurry picture: her camouflage colours work fine, even for the camera ;)!

    Ach wat leuk! Vorig jaar bij de buren zat er ook een eend in de knotwilg 1:1
    Weer prachtig gemaakt en met oog voor het kleinste detail. Leuk dat je deze natuurevenementen in 1:12 vastlegt!!!.

    Your painting skills are an EQUAL MATCH to your Incredible SCULPTING SKILLS! I kept trying to find something in the mess of bare wood at the top of the tree and eventually I saw her, but Oh My what a BEAUTY!!!! Such a lovely duck! You have a Great Gift that I truly admire. Well done Ilona :D

    I've once seen an interview with Carl Barks walking near a little lake with waterbirds and he said: "Everybody loves ducks." He was known as "The Good Artist" making Donald Duck so popular and inventing Scrooge Mc Duck so he was for sure an expert when it came to ducks... And I think he was right - ducks are so lovely and beautiful. And I love ducks... of course the ones from Duckburg... but your duck too. She's beautiful! And although I'm always expecting something extraordinary and breathtaking from you being an experienced follower of your work you're still and always surprising me. The colouring of Mrs. Duck is stunning, I can hardly wait to see the male one.

    Lieve Ilona, allereerst badankt voor je lieve reactie op mijn Blog :)
    Wat een prachtige eend heb je gemaakt, een echt kunststukje, ik heb haar op de eerste 3 foto´s ook niet gevonden, bovendien wist ik nog niet eens of het nu om 1:1 foto´s ging of 1:12.
    Het ziet er allemaal zo realistisch uit, en dan het water in de achtergrond maakt het nog echter:)
    Gewldig mooie foto´s !!
    Ik wens je nog een zonnige week :)

    Ik loe al uw werk en denkt dat je bent ongelooflijk getalenteerd, maar dit wilde eend nam mijn adem weg! Ze is zo realistisch en zo ongelooflijk goed en nauwkeurig gedetailleerd! Ze is echt een meesterwerk!

    Que escena tan hermosa Ilona!! El árbol es perfecto para que mama pata anide, ahi se sentirá muy segura y podrá dejar solos a los polluelos sin ningún temosr.

    We have a lot of mallards here, I saw some today, you have really made it realistic!! Looks just like the one I saw today =)

    bonjour Ilona,
    incroyable ! ils sont parfaits. j'aime beaucoup la délicatesse du plumage de la femelle . c'est très réussit . j'aime la forme du canard mâle mais je trouve qu'il manque le reflet brillant des plumes vertes et bleu.
    ho je fais la difficile !!! car j'aime tout . c'est un petit détail. vous avez un don pour reproduire la nature . c'est toujours un grand plaisir de lire votre blog .

    Oh Ilona, ze is prachtig!!! net echt! Er loopt regelmatig een eendenpaartje bij ons door de tuin en ik zie mevrouw eend gewoon hier weer terug op mijn scherm! Echt knap gedaan!
