Vijf tinten rood / Five shades of red

Het was best een moeilijke opdracht: het maken van een boeket rode rozen. Want in het miniatuur is het niet handig om te werken in één tint rood. Je krijgt dan niet de diepte in een miniatuur boeket te zien, die je natuurlijk wél wilt. Daarom heb ik gekozen voor 5 tinten rood, zoals je hierboven kunt zien.

It was quite a difficult commission: the making of a bouquet of red roses. Because it’s not handy to work in one shade of red in miniature. Than, you won’t get any depth in a miniature bouquet and of course you want to see it. That’s why I’ve chosen for 5 shades of red, as you can see here above.

Rode rozen staan vaak symbool voor liefde en deze rozen zijn gemaakt met veel liefde  ;)!
