Hartverwarmend cadeau / Heartwarming gift

Meer dan een week geleden kreeg ik, volkomen onverwacht, een groot pakket aangeboden door de postbode…………wat was het en wie had het gestuurd, ik had werkelijk geen idee!?

Na openen en het verwijderen van grote proppen krantenpapier bleek het van Melli: http://pippibaerenbande.blogspot.com uit Duitsland afkomstig te zijn. Groot was mijn verrassing toen ik een flinke pluk rode vilt wol ontdekte in een grote zak, gevuld met veel kleurtjes vilt wol :D!!

Och wat lief, ontzettend gul en zo doordacht van Melli! Ik had namelijk in een vorig blogbericht geschreven dat ik een heel klein beetje rode wol miste (in mijn oefenpakketje) om daarmee een hartje op de stoel voor Schepje te kunnen naaldvilten….

More than a week ago the mailman came to my door with a completely unexpected big package……what was it and who had sent it, I really had no idea!?

After opening the box and after removing the big crumpled wads of newspaper, I saw the package came from Germany, of Melli: http://pippibaerenbande.blogspot.com  It was a huge surprise to discover a large tuft of red wool in a big plastic bag, which was filled with lots of colors wool for needle felting :D!!

Aw, it was so sweet, very generous and so thoughtful of Melli! Because I wrote a previous blog post that I just did miss a little fluff of red wool for needle felting a small red heart on Schepje’s chair….

Behalve die grote zak vol wol voor naaldvilten, zaten er een mooie kaart met leuke beren, een fles ‘Wäschesteife’ (stijfsel) en een stuk olijfzeep in de doos. De laatste spullen zijn nodig tijdens het naaldvilten, dat was iets wat ik (als beginner) helemaal niet wist!

Besides the big bag filled with wool for needle felting, Melli has sent me a lovely greeting card with cute bears, a bottle with ‘Wäschesteife’ (starch) and a bar of olive soap in the box. These last few things are needed during the needle felting process, that was something I (being a beginner) didn’t know at all!

Terwijl ik de zak wol uit de doos haalde, verschoof er een plastic zakje in de doos. Ik had het zakje nog niet gezien en nadat ik het uit de doos pakte zag ik een heel klein beertje, dat het nogal benauwd leek te hebben. Pijlsnel heb ik het zakje opengemaakt en bijgestaan door Schepje (BiWuBaerchen zijn heel nieuwsgierig en goed in pakjes openmaken ;D) klom er een prachtig gemaakt beertje uit.

Whilst I unpacked the bag full of wool, I saw that there was moving a small plastic bag in the box. I hadn’t seen this small plastic bag until then and after I took it out of the box I saw a very small bear, which looked quite stuffy. As fast as I could I opened the bag and assisted by Schepje (BiWuBaeries are quite nosy and very good in opening parcels ;D) there climbed a beautifully made small bear out of the bag.

Hij heet ‘Barnsteen’, afgekort tot Barney, volgens de munt. Op die munt staat niet alleen zijn naam, maar ook dat hij een originele Pippibär is! Hij wilde per se bij mij in Nederland komen wonen, aldus Melli. Wat een eer én zo leuk voor Schepje, die nu een nieuw vriendje heeft en niet meer zo alleen is ;)! Schepje heeft hem gelijk een stevige knuffel gegeven……

His name is ‘Barnsteen’, shortened to Barney, according the coin. On that coin is not only written his name, but also that he is an original Pippibär! He insisted for living with me in The Netherlands, according Melli.

 This is such an honor and it is so nice for Schepje too, who now has a new small friend and is not alone anymore ;)! Schepje immediately gave him a big hug…….

Nadat hij uit de doos was geholpen, mocht Barney van Schepje in zijn relax fauteuil een beetje bijkomen van de lange reis. Ze hadden elkaar veel te vertellen…..

After he was helped to climb out of the box, Schepje allowed him to take place in his relaxfauteuil to get a bit of rest after his long trip. They also had to tell a lot of things to each other…..

En ik? Ik kan alleen maar tegen Melli zeggen: heel hartelijk dank voor dit hartverwarmende cadeau, Melli, ik zal heel goed voor Barney zorgen, dat beloof ik :D!!

Melli vertelde me dat haar dochter, Shania ook een blog heeft en met haar 7 jaar is ze ook de nieuwste en jongste volger van mijn blog! Hartelijk welkom, Shania :D!

Shania kan heel goed blogs schrijven en heeft een heksenhuis in aanbouw voor haar heks, Plumella (wat ook een origineel BiWuBaerchen is, gemaakt door Birgit van  http://biwubaer.blogspot.com ) Ik denk dat het voor Shania leuk zou zijn, als jullie eens een kijkje op haar blog: http://plumella.blogspot.com zouden willen nemen :D!

And I? I only can say to Melli: I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this heartwarming gift, Melli, I will take good care after Barney, I’ll promise you that :D!!

Melli told me that her daughter also has her own blog and because she is 7 years old, Shania is not only the latest, but also the youngest follower of my blog! A warm welcome, Shania :D!

She also can write very good blog posts and she is building a miniature house for her witch, Plumella (who is also an original BiWuBaerchen made by Birigt,  of  http://biwubaer.blogspot.com )It would be so nice for Shania, if you would take a look at her blog: http://plumella.blogspot.com :D!

Ik wil jullie allemaal bedanken voor jullie fijne reacties op mijn vorige blog post :D!

Vanwege familie omstandigheden zal ik de komende tijd niet veel in de blogwereld zijn. Ik zal wel proberen om af en toe blogs te posten, maar ik zal helaas weinig tijd hebben om reacties achter te laten, het spijt me.
