Op het moment heb ik iets met bloemen/planten en vogels, ik kan er niets aan doen ;)! Hier in de omgeving zijn veel verschillende vogels, waarvan er eentje de laatste tijd nog al eens mijn aandacht trok.
Raadseltje: welke vogel is dol op zilveren voorwerpen of de zogenaamde bling bling? Mag ik aan jullie voorstellen...........juist, Mevrouw Pica Pica (=Latijnse benaming voor de ekster)!!
Ze meet van haar snavelpuntje tot het puntje van haar lange staart slechts 39 mm, is gemaakt van Fimo klei en voelt zich helemaal thuis in deze ring :)!

At the moment I am in the flowers/plants and birds, I can't help it ;). Here in the region there are many different birds and one particular bird caught my attention lately.
A little riddle: which bird loves silver or the so called bling bling? Let me introduce to you...........yeah, Mrs. Mag Pie!!
She is from her beak to the tip of her long tail only 39 mm, she is made from Fimo-/polymer clay and she feels at home in this ring :)!

Looks very realistic, I like how you did her glittering wings. He looks beautiful and scary, once I saw the park as a magpie attacked the little sparrow ... but this is predator, well...the life...

This is outstanding - what a beautiful magpie! We have a couple living in the birchs across our street, but - knock on wood - no losses of bling bling so far... (LOL). As all ravens these birds are beautiful and very clever. Did you know magpies are able to recognize themselves as individuals - which is considered to be the sign of highest intelligence by animals? You should really stay in that flowery birdie mood - the results are stunnig to watch and at least... it's spring... ;O)
