De hele week werd er druk gevlogen door het echtpaar Merel en ik heb dus iets heel liefs gevonden in de heg in mijn tuin!! Kijk.............
The past week there was a busy flying by the couple Blackbird in my garden and so I found something fragile and sweet in the hedge in my garden!! Look.....
I tiptoed very sneaky and, yesssss........this is what I saw in the hedge. And then I left quickly, because Daddy Blackbird arrived with a twig in its beak.
Hij stelde mijn bezoekje niet erg op prijs ;) de arme vent.
He didn't appriciate my visit very much ;) the poor guy.
Aha, Mammie Merel was er toch.....wachtend op haar man om het nest met takjes te versterken.
Ah, Mommy Blackbird was there too......waiting for her husband to strengthen the nest with twigs.
Naderhand heb ik heel even dit kleine wondertje vastgehouden om het te inspecteren: 3 eitjes!
(dat doe ik in het echt natuurlijk écht niet)
Subsequently(?) I have took a good look at this little miracle: 3 eggs!
(I won't do that in real life of course)
De lente komt eraan!!

Beautiful work and a wonderful post... it's so nice that you can do things in miniature world which you wouldn't do in real life, isn't it - like peeping in a blackbird's nest. I love those birds very much, their song is one of the most beautiful amongst birds. We call them "Amsel" in German, and the couple in our garden is called Amselino (the male) and Amselina (his wife) - and our Amselino was even the model for one of my BiWuBears who is proudly carrying the same name (with a black fur and an orange nose of course *smile*)

For the photos on my blog... yes I love the snow but in Rome we had some difficult for going to work and for the traffic.
