Kakifruit was in de aanbieding / Kakifruits special offer last week

Afgelopen week waren ze in de reclame: mmmmmmm kaki's, heerlijke vruchten!
Ik heb er wat nagemaakt van Fimo klei, minder lekker maar wel mooi om naar te kijken ;)

Last week the supermarket had an special offer: mmmmmmm khaki's, delicious fruit!
I have copied some of Fimo clay, less tasty, but beautiful to look at ;)

Het "kroontje" heb ik van papier gemaakt, dat was te klein om met klei te doen.

The "leaves" on the top (I don't know the English word) are made of paper, it was too tiny to make of clay.

Een schaal vol met sappige rijpe kaki's, ik heb er al eentje opgesnoept ;) nadat de foto was gemaakt.

A bowl full of ripe khaki's, I had one secretly ;) after I took the photos.

Fantastic work. As Ewa, I never tried one in real life - maybe a mistake that should be overcome soon... ;O)

Hi Vicky, you're a "quick one" ;) I was just visiting YOUR blog!!The khaki's are quite expensive overhere in Holland, so I don't buy them as often as I would like to do. But a special offer makes the difference ;) And yes, I enjoyed to eat the real one, yummie.
I "make them not real", I look very well to the object I try to make, so if I can I buy one and take a good look at it. I don't know how it works, but it did and I'm very glad with the results.
Hugs, Ilona

Wow, Ilona! These came out really natural! Great job! I´m just trying to make a Medinilla from paper but I only have pictures and I surely won´t buy one as they´re are expensive AND it surely wouldn´t survive for long under my "care" :-) Have a good start in the week,
Sandra
